Certificates of Flame Resistance

 

As certified flame retardant applicators, we can provide you with Certificates of Flame Resistance in the states of California and New York.

How to get a certification of flame resistance: 

1) Send us a sample of the materials you need tested

(We would prefer 1-square yard of fabric, if possible)

2) If treatable, we will treat it and test it to make sure it is up to fire codes.

***NOTE: IN ORDER TO GET  A CERTIFICATE OF FLAME RESISTANCE,  THE MATERIALS MUST BE TREATED BY A CERTIFIED APPLICATOR.

3) You will receive the certificate with the treated materials!

Fire safety is important in every building — but in schools, restaurants, bars, and other places of public assembly, it’s the law. Firetect is a certified flame retardant applicator and, as such, is qualified to issue certificates of flame resistance that meet fire codes in New York, California, and the rest of the nation.

 

Getting a certificate of flame resistance from Firetect is an easy process: Just send us a sample of the materials you need tested for flame resistance — preferably a square yard of fabric, if possible. We’ll treat and test your sample to verify it can be certified. If passing results are achieved, we can treat the remainder of your fabric and ship treated materials back to you with the certificate.
